ReviewMyContract is operated by Laniakea Technologies ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about users of our service at reviewmycontract.ai ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Contract text you submit

When you use the Service, you paste the text of your contract or agreement. This text is transmitted to our servers and to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your analysis. It is not written to permanent storage and is not retained after your analysis is complete. We do not link your contract text to any persistent user identity.

Payment information

If you purchase a full analysis, your payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. Stripe provides us with a transaction ID and a confirmation of payment. For fraud prevention purposes, Stripe may collect your IP address, browser information, and other signals. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Email address (optional)

We may offer the option to receive your analysis by email. If you provide an email address, we use it solely to deliver your analysis. We do not add you to a marketing list without your explicit consent.

Automatically collected information

When you visit the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security monitoring, service improvement, and aggregate analytics. It is not linked to the contract text you submit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the contract analysis service — processing your contract text through our AI pipeline to generate your report.
• Process your payment and confirm your transaction.
• Deliver your analysis by email if requested.
• Monitor for and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized use of the service.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the service through aggregate, anonymized usage analysis.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your contract text to train AI models. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. Data Retention

Contract text you submit is processed in memory and discarded after your analysis is generated. It is not written to a database or stored on disk beyond the duration required to produce your report.

Transaction records (including Stripe transaction IDs and payment confirmation) are retained for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes in accordance with standard business practices, typically for up to 7 years.

Server logs containing IP addresses and usage data are retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

If you provided an email address to receive your analysis, we retain that email address only as long as necessary to deliver the analysis and for a reasonable period thereafter to handle any related support inquiries.

We share data with the following third-party service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

We do not share your contract text or personal information with any other third parties, except as required by law or legal process.

6. Cookies and Tracking

ReviewMyContract uses minimal cookies. Specifically:

• Stripe sets cookies on our payment pages for fraud detection and checkout functionality. These are necessary to process payments.
• Vercel may set performance cookies as part of its hosting infrastructure.
• We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Note that disabling Stripe's cookies may interfere with payment processing.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Receive a copy of your personal data in a portable format.

Because ReviewMyContract does not require account creation and does not persistently link your contract text to your identity, we may have limited ability to retrieve specific data associated with you. 8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted HTTPS connections for all data transmission, secure third-party payment processing through Stripe, and infrastructure security provided by Vercel. We recognize that contracts often contain commercially sensitive information, and we have designed the service to minimize data retention accordingly. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
